Syracuse Shines On Day Two Of Penn Invitational

PHILADELPHIA – The Syracuse University women's tennis team compiled 11 victories Saturday at the Penn Invitational, the second day of the Orange's first fall event.
'Cuse racked up eight singles and three doubles victories on the day. Nelly Knezkova, Serafima Shastova and Constance Levivier all won a pair of matches, with Miyuka Kimoto and Shiori Ito both adding a triumph of their own. Shastova dropped just two total games in her two singles victories.
In doubles, 'Cuse went 3-0, with three new pairings picking up the wins. In total, the Orange went 11-4 across singles and doubles on Saturday.
The tournament will conclude Sunday as Syracuse looks to finish the event strong.
