
Six Earn All-ACC Honors

CHARLOTTE – Junior Emma Muchnick highlights a group of six members of the Orange named to the 2025 All-ACC Women's Lacrosse Team announced on Tuesday, April 22.

Muchnick was voted to the All-ACC First Team by the league's head coaches. Graduate student Emma Ward was selected to the All-ACC Second Team, while sophomore Kaci Benoit, junior Danny Guyette, freshman Caroline Trinkaus and junior Coco Vandiver are third-team honorees.

Muchnick leads the Orange with a career-high 30 goals and ranks third in points with 35. She has scored multiple goals in 11 games this season, including a career-high five in the win at Loyola. The midfielder also has posted career highs in ground balls (38), draw controls (25) and caused turnovers (13).

Ward is Syracuse's leader in points with 68 and assists with 41. She ranks 17th in the nation in assists and 20th in assists per game (2.56). She has posted four or more points in 11-of-16 contests this season. Ward enters the ACC Tournament tied for the top spot on Syracuse's career assists leader list with 164. The attacker also became the seventh player in program history to record 300 career points earlier this season.

Benoit is tied for the team lead in ground balls with a career-high 30 to go along with 11 caused turnovers. She also has 13 draw controls, which is also a career high. The defender has helped Syracuse hold its opponents to 10 goals or less in five games this season.

Guyette has recorded 10 or more saves in seven games in her first season starting in goal for Syracuse. She ranks 18th nationally in saves (146) and 24th in saves per game (9.13). Guyette is second in the ACC in both categories.

Trinkaus moved from midfielder to attack early in the season and ranks second on the squad in goals (28) and points (37). She has scored multiple goals in seven games, including four-goal performances against Notre Dame and California.

Vandiver ranks 12th in the nation in caused turnovers per game (2.31). The defender has 37 caused turnovers this season, which ranks second on Syracuse's single-season record list. Vandiver is also tied for the team lead in ground balls with 30.

The Orange open play in the ACC Tournament on Wednesday, April 23 when they take on No. 3 seed Stanford at 8 p.m. on ACC Network.
