HONG KONG -- Syracuse rising junior Emma Muchnick and Team USA clinched the top spot in Pool A at the 2024 World Lacrosse Women's U20 Championship in Hong Kong, China. The United States defeated China, 29-1, on Sunday to improve to 3-0, and will wrap up pool play on Tuesday against Israel.
Muchnick was one of two players to score four goals for Team USA in the win against China. In the first three games of the tournament, Muchnick has recorded six goals and four draw controls.
The United States has been dominant in pool play. Team USA has outscored its opponents, 90-5.
