Orange Return Home to Face #41 SMU

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Syracuse University women's tennis returns to Drumlins Country Club this weekend as the Orange lineup against No. 41 SMU Sunday morning with an 11 a.m. first serve on ACC Network extra.

GETTING THINGS STARTED

Syracuse returns from a three-match road trip this weekend to face ACC foe SMU.
The Orange notched their first conference win last Saturday, sweeping Boston College 5-0.
Syracuse owns a 4-1 record at Drumlins Country Club.
Nelly Knezkova and Monika Wojcik are tied for the team lead with 11 overall wins this spring. Knezkova is 6-1 in doubles play and 5-3 in singles, while Wojcik is 6-3 in singles and 5-4 in doubles.
Sunday's match is the beginning of a three-match home stand at Drumlins.

OPENING ACTION

Anastasia Sysoeva is 3-2 when playing at the No. 2 singles position. She was flawless against Boston University, winning 6-0, 6-0. Sysoeva picked up a win against Boston College at No. 1 singles.
Wojcik owns a 3-1 record when playing in the No. 4 singles spot.
The No. 1 doubles duo of Knezkova and Sysoeva have dropped just one match this spring.
Serafima Shastova recorded wins against Cornell, Fordham and Buffalo at No. 1 singles. She logged her fourth singles victory of the spring against Boston College while playing at the No. 2 position.
Constance Levivier picked up her first singles win of the season against Buffalo, winning 7-6 (7-3), 6-0.
The Orange have taken the doubles point in six of their 10 matches this spring.
Leena Bennetto has won two consecutive singles matches.
