Syracuse 3V8, 3V4 Set For NYS Collegiate Championships

No. 10 Syracuse will send two boats to Saratoga Springs, N.Y. on Saturday to compete in the NYS Collegiate Championships. Live results will be available here.
Syracuse's third varsity eight will kick off the event in the first heat of the varsity eight competition at 9:16 a.m. Joining the Orange in that heat will be Rochester Institute of Technology, William Smith, Smith and Vassar. Two more heats will follow with finals going off from 1:58-2:14 p.m.
The Orange will also have its third varsity four competing in the women's varsity four competition. Syracuse will race in the first heat at 10:20 a.m. against St. John Fisher, UAlbany, Vassar and Rensselaer Crew Club. There will be two more heats followed by the finals, with the first beginning at 3:26 p.m. and the last starting at 3:42 p.m.
Syracuse, the defending ACC champions, competed at Redwood Shores, California last weekend against No. 2 Stanford and No. 8 Cal. The Orange are ranked No. 10 in this week's CRCA Coaches poll and have been ranked either No. 10 or 11 in all six polls this season.
The NYS Collegiate Championships serve as a regional championship for the collegiate crews of New York. The event will be held on the same course in Saratoga as the Cayuga Cup, which Syracuse raced two weeks ago against Yale and Cornell.

3:42 p.m. – Women's Varsity Four Final
