SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange are slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff against Boston College on Friday Oct. 3 at the SU Soccer Stadium. The match will feature an honorary ceremony for head coach Ian McIntyre's achievement for the most wins in program history and will also feature Otto's Kid Club activities.
'Cuse Update
The Orange won their first conference game of the season 2-0 at California on Sept. 27.
Sophomore Garrett Holan recorded his first career goal in the 65th minute. The defender found the back of the net off a pass from Ernest Mensah Jr. Defender Chimere Omeze collected his second goal of the season in the 70th minute. Gavin Wigg threw in the ball, allowing the sophomore to head the ball off the pipe and straight down into the net.
Graduate student goalkeeper Tomas Hut recorded a career high seven saves in one game while tallying his fifth shutout of the season.
Last time at home, the Orange defeated Colgate 3-0. Senior Carlos Zambrano recorded a hat-trick while head coach Ian McIntyre collected his 142nd win, making him the winningest coach in program history.
The Orange now hold a 3-1-0 record on the road and a 4-4-2 (1-2-0) record overall.

Scouting the Eagles
Boston College comes off a 3-0 loss against No. 3 Stanford on the road on Sept. 29. Freshman goalkeeper Andrej Boraks tallied a career-high 10 saves in Saturday's game against the Cardinal.
Senior Johannes Hanken Tjostheim leads the Eagles with five goals this season. He's tallied 11 shots, with eight of them on goal. His most recent goal was against Boston University on Sept. 23. He previously scored a hat trick against Dean on Sept. 10.
The Eagles were projected to finish in 15th place in the conference this year according to the ACC Preseason Coaches Poll. Boston College currently stands in 12th place.
In 2024, the Eagles finished their season in 13th place with a 1-4-3 conference record. Boston College's season ended in the first round of the ACC Championship with a 1-0 loss to SMU.
