Men's 1,500-Meter Run Semifinal | Wednesday, 8:21 p.m. (eastern)
Benne Anderson will be the first member of the Orange on the track, racing in the second of two semifinal heats of the 1,500. There are 12 competitors in each heat, with the top-five finishers in each, plus next next-two fastest times advancing to Friday's final.
Anderson's season-best time of 3:36.45 ranks sixth in his semifinal heat, with Michigan's Trent McFarland and Arkansas' Brian Masai (3:33.17) tying for the top time in the heat.
The national final will be Friday at 8:12 p.m. eastern.
Men's 110-Meter Hurdles Semifinal | Wednesday 9:08 p.m. (eastern)
Jamir Brown will run in the first of three semifinal heats in the 110-meter hurdles. The top-two finishers in each heat, plus next three fastest times, will advance to the nine-man final on Friday night.
Brown, who owns Syracuse's school record in the event and was the ACC Champion this season, has the second-fastest seed time in his heat at 13.25 seconds. Texas' Kendrick Smallwood – the national leader at 13.04 seconds – is also in Brown's heat and will be in the next lane. Five men in Brown's heat have all run below 13.30 seconds this season.
The NCAA final will be Friday at 8:42 p.m. eastern.
Men's 400-Meter Hurdles Semifinals | Wednesday 10:14 p.m. (eastern)
Fresh off his school record in the NCAA quarterfinals, Elijah Mallard will race in the first of three heats for the national semifinal in the 400-meter hurdles. The top-two finishers from each heat, plus next-three fastest times, will advance to Friday's NCAA finals.
Mallard's time of 49.11 seconds last week vaulted him to the nation's 12th-fastest mark this season. He now has the fifth-fastest time in his heat. North Carolina A&T's Xzaviah Taylor (48.82 seconds) represents the top seed in Mallard's heat.
The NCAA final will be Friday at 9:27 p.m. eastern.
