
Pointer Earns All-America Honors in 200

Iaunia Pointer broke her own school record for the third-straight race on Thursday in the NCAA Semifinal of the 200-meter dash.
Pointer finished 15th in the 200 with a time of 22.89 seconds, bettering her previous personal best and school record time of 22.90 seconds from the NCAA Quarterfinal.

Pointer joins Sam Lawler (21st – 10,000-meter run) in earning All-America honors at the meet. Pointer's 15th-place finish earns her second team honors, while Lawler was an honorable mention honoree after his finish on Wednesday.
