
Orange Wrap Up Weekend at East Coast Relays

After setting nine personal bests on Friday, Syracuse added three more on Saturday at the East Coast Relays.
Jamir Brown set a new personal best of 13.39 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles, the sixth-fastest time in the country this season. Brown was second to Auburn's Ja'Kobe Tharp (13.31 seconds), who is second nationally in the event this year.
Brown did not compete in the final, but teammate Isaish Hayes placed third overall in 14.03 seconds.
Peyton Rillins and Tia Outlaw both had PRs in the 100-meter hurdles prelims. Rollins posted a time of 13.47 seconds to advance to the finals, where she took seventh. Outlaw was 11th in 13.68 seconds. Emeline Clark (13.90 seconds) was 17th.
Nicea Jones was 12th in the 400-meter dash, crossing the line in 54.56 seconds.
The Orange conclude the regular season on Tuesday at Cornell's Last Chance Meet.
