
Orange Take 2 Event Wins in Ithaca

The Syracuse track and field team came away with two event wins in the three events members of the Orange competed in at Ithaca College's Tuesday Meet.
Four of the six 'Cuse runners that entered competed in the 200-meter dash, which was won by Mia Hernanez in 25.59 seconds. Nylah Robinson (27.73 seconds), Andrea Pomales (27.81 seconds) and Leah Bello (29.79 seconds) also competed.
The Orange also got a decisive win in the 400-meter hurdles, where Ivana Richards crossed the line in 1:07.30, nearly nine seconds ahead of the field.
Bianca Williams (13.99 seconds) was 10th in the women's 100 as well.
Syracuse is off this weekend before competing in three meets in five days to conclude the regular season. The Orange's final tune-ups before the ACC Championships will be the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton (May 1), the East Coast Relays in Jacksonville, Fla. (May 1-2) and Cornell's Last Chance Meet (May 5). Â Â
