Syracuse women's lacrosse placed five players on the USA Lacrosse All-America teams, tied for the fourth-most honorees of any program nationally behind only North Carolina, Northwestern and Michigan. Coco Vandiver earned Second Team honors, Izzy Lahah and Emma Muchnick were Third Team selections, and Molly Guzik and Dan Guyette received Honorable Mention recognition.
Vandiver, a senior captain, spearheaded one of the nation's top defenses this season, serving as the leader of the backline. Syracuse held foes to 8.06 goals per game, the 12th best mark in the nation, all while having played the third-toughest strength of schedule. Vandiver has racked up a career-high 42 caused turnovers this season, giving her 116 in her career to be the Syracuse all-time leader in the category.
Lahah serves alongside Vandiver on one of the nation's most prolific defenses, leading the Orange with 51 caused turnovers and 49 ground balls. She recorded at least one caused turnover in each of the last 17 games.
Muchnick, another senior captain alongside Vandiver, earned a Third Team nod after tallying 23 goals and a career-high 11 caused turnovers as a true two-way midfielder. She is coming off a strong performance at the ACC Tournament where she scored seven goals, logged an assist and a caused turnover across two contests.
Guyette, the 2026 ACC Goalkeeper of the Year, earned Honorable Mention distinction after a season in which she recorded a 7.81 goals against average to go with a .461 save percentage all while having played against some of the toughest opponents in the nation. She compiled eight games in which she had a save percentage north of .500.
Guzik, a First Team All-ACC honoree and the Orange's leading scorer, was also named an honorable mention. The sophomore attacker has scored 40 goals and tallied 10 assists this season. She had a breakout performance against the NCAA Tournament's top-seed, Northwestern, when she scored six goals in a 9-6 win.
The Orange get their postseason underway on Friday evening when they take on the No. 23 ranked Loyola Greyhounds at 7 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland. The game will air on ESPN+.
