
Track Set for 2 Weekend Events

The Syracuse track and field teams will head to a pair of events this weekend, taking on the Duke Invitational and Providence's Friar Invitational.
DUKE INVITATIONAL MEET INFO:
Date: Friday - Saturday

ORANGE ENTRIES:
Syracuse will start the meet at Duke at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, with the 110-meter hurdles prelims. Jamir Brown and Isaiah Hayes will run for 'Cuse. Thirty minutes later, the women's 100-meter hurdles will get underway with Taleea Buxton, Peyton Rollins, Tia Outlaw and Emeline Clark representing the Orange. Finals of each event will be at 12:40 and 12:45, respectively on Saturday.
The Orange will follow with Indie Wallace-Persaud and Sierra Joseph competing in the women's 100-meter prelims on Friday at 4:15 p.m. The final of that event will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
 On Saturday April 11th , Syracuse will begin the competition at 12:00 p.m. with the women's 4x100-meter relay. Nicea Jones and Shayla Ford will then compete in the 400-meter dash at 12:15 p.m.
The 400-meter hurdles will get underway at 3 p.m., where Clark will represent the Orange women and Elijah Mallard will race for the men.
 Wallace-Persaud, Ford and Joseph will close the event for 'Cuse in the 200-meter dash at 3:40 p.m.

Billie Frazier and Ivana Richards will compete in the 400-meter hurdles to kick things off for 'Cuse at 3:45 p.m.
The mile begins at 4:40 p.m. and will feature Gretta Johnson, Carmen Luisi, Beatriz Fernandes, Luise Hitzbleck and Blake Parker for the women. The men will race Asher Danielson Tristan Thurneysen, Andrew Walton and Charles Guerrera in the event.
Mia Hernandez will then race in the 200-meter dash at 5:35 p.m.
Mackenzie Cook will take on the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the women, followed by Omar Alsaidi for the men, with those races set to begin at 6 p.m. for the women.
Sarah Lawson will compete in the 3,000-meter run at 7:45 p.m. to wrap up the event for the Orange.
