
Orange Open Raleigh Relays

The Syracuse men opened up the Raleigh Relays on Thursday, competing across three events on night one of the meet.
Julian Franjieh led the way in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing in 8:48.03, which earned him 18th place. Omar Alsaidi (9:25.21) followed.
Charles Guerrera (14:08.13) was the top 'Cuse finisher in the 5k, crossing the line in 14:08.13. Tristan Thurneyesen (14:47.02) and Asher Danielson (15:02.21) also competed.
In the 10k, Ruben Rojas Betanzos (30:11.34) and Conell Alford (30:31.19) raced for the Orange.
Action continues Friday, with the 'Cuse women competing.
