No. 10 Syracuse (5-3, 3-2 ACC) faces its fifth top-10 opponent of the season Tuesday when it hosts No. 7 Yale (7-0, 1-0 Ivy League) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Opening Draw
Syracuse has won five straight to climb into the national top 10, checking in at No. 10 in the IWLCA poll, No. 9 in KANE and No. 7 in USA Lacrosse.

The Orange are coming off a 9-6 road victory over then-ranked No. 4 Northwestern. The Orange were led by Molly Guzik's six goals and held the Wildcats to their lowest goal total since the 2022 season.

Luck of the Orange
The contest against Yale is Syracuse's "Luck of the Orange" game! Fans in attendance will be given Orange pom-poms for the occasion.

Get the Ball to Guzik
Guzik has been the offensive catalyst for the Orange, scoring a team-high 23 goals this season. She has notched three or more goals in all but one game of the five-game winning streak, including her career-high six against Northwestern.

The sophomore has held it down inside the circle as well, winning a squad-best 36 draw controls this year.

The Orange Backline
The Syracuse defense is holding opponents to just 7.4 goals per game this season, the fifth lowest mark in the nation. Over the past five games, the Orange have held opponents to under 10 goals in four contests and under five in two.

The most recent result being a 9-6 win was fueled by a strong defensive performance. The Orange stymied the potent Northwestern offense, holding the Wildcats to their lowest total since 2022. The Orange held Madison Taylor, who had scored at least three points in every appearance since 2024, to just one.

Izzy Lahah and Coco Vandiver lead the way statistically with 22 and 20 caused turnovers, respectively.

Guyette in Net
Daniella Guyette was crucial in the victory over the Wildcats, notching eight saves at a .571 clip. Through eight games, Guyette has logged 52 saves and accumulated a .477 save percentage.

Scouting Yale
Syracuse will face an unbeaten Yale squad on Tuesday. The Bulldogs enter at 7-0 and rank among the nation's most balanced teams, averaging 16.0 goals per game while surrendering just 5.6.

Kate Gould paces Yale offensively with 31 points on 18 goals and 13 assists, while Kelly Holmes leads the team with 20 goals. In net, Niamh Pfaff has been sharp with a .520 save percentage.

Tuesday's matchup will be the seventh all-time meeting between the programs, with Yale having won the last two, including a first-round NCAA Tournament clash a year ago — though Syracuse topped the Bulldogs in the 2024 tournament, 19-9.
