SYRACUSE, New York --Â No. 4 Syracuse women's lacrosse squad returns to the JMA Wireless Dome on Tuesday, Feb. 18 when it hosts Cornell. Opening draw is set for 4 p.m.

Season and individual tickets are on sale now at Cuse.com/tickets. Tuesday's game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. Fans can also listen to the action on WJPZ 89.1FM and get live updates on social media (@CuseWlax). The Orange will welcome Otto's Kids Club members to Tuesday's contest.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse brought home a 15-9 victory at No. 7 Maryland on Saturday. Graduate student Emma Ward led the Orange with seven points (3g, 4a). Senior Olivia Adamson scored a team-high four goals, while freshman Caroline Trinkaus had her first career hat trick.

Defensively, goalkeeper Daniella Guyette made a career-high 11 saves in her second career start, while Kaci Benoit caused three turnovers and picked up three ground balls.

SCOUTING THE BIG RED
Cornell opened the 2025 season with a 14-8 victory against Jacksonville last weekend. Ella Wilmot (3g, 3a) and Caitlin Slaminko (4g, 2a) both had six-point days and Josie Vogel tallied a hat trick. Elli Horner (2s, 3ga) and Mackenzie Vlark (6s, 5ga) split time in goal, while Ellie Bergin won six draws for the Big Red.

SERIES HISTORY
Tuesday's game will be the 27th all-time meeting with Cornell. The Orange lead the all-time series, 21-5, and have won all 12 contests played in Syracuse.

The Big Red visited the JMA Wireless Dome last April. Emma Tyrrell gave Syracuse the lead for good when she scored 18 seconds into the action. It was the first of three first-quarter goals for Tyrrell as she helped the Orange to a 6-1 advantage after the first 15 minutes.

The squads traded goals to start the second quarter before 'Cuse ended the half on a 5-0 scoring run to take an 11-2 advantage into the locker room at halftime. Adamson scored twice during the run, which was capped by Tyrrell's fourth goal of the day.

Syracuse led, 12-4, after three quarters and Adamson and Emma Muchnick combined for five goals in the fourth quarter to give the Orange a 17-4 victory.

Syracuse goes on the road for the second time this season to take on No. 2 North Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. in Chapel Hill.
