No. 15 Syracuse (2-3, 1-2 ACC) comes back home on Tuesday for an ACC showdown with the California Golden Bears (3-3, 1-1 ACC).

Opening Draw
The Orange return to JMA Wireless Dome for an ACC matchup against California, looking to extend their winning streak to three games.

Syracuse enters the contest at 2-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play after posting wins over No.13 Loyola and Louisville last week. Syracuse opened the year taking on the top three teams in this week's IWLCA poll: No. 1 North Carolina, No. 2 Stanford and No. 3 Maryland.

Recent Results
Syracuse is coming off a 13-10 road victory against Louisville, marking its first ACC win of the season. The Orange forced 19 turnovers in the contest, the most in a single game since 2019 and a program-best in ACC play.

Nine different players found the back of the net in the win Saturday. The Orange are averaging 14 goals per game over their last two contests after being held under 10 in each of their first three outings.

Guzik's Hot Start
Molly Guzik has paced the Syracuse offense through five games, leading the team with 12 goals and 15 points. The sophomore posted a career-high four goals and five points in the win at Louisville and has recorded multiple goals in four consecutive starts.

Guzik has also been dominant in the circle, winning a team-best 21 draw controls, including a career-high seven against Loyola. She is just two goals shy of matching her freshman-year total.

Offensive Leaders
Caroline Trinkaus, a preseason All-American Honorable Mention selection, has tallied seven goals and eight points this season. Ashlee Volpe and Mackenzie Rich each lead the team with four assists, while Volpe posted a career-high four helpers in the victory against Loyola.

Joey Caramelli and Mileena Cotter have added four goals apiece, contributing to an offense that has seen 12 different players score this season.

Scouting California
California enters the matchup with a 3-3 overall record and a 1-1 mark in ACC play. The Golden Bears are coming off a road loss to Duke but earned their first ACC victory in history earlier this year against Florida State.

Courtney Wong leads the Cal offense with 26 points (13 goals, 13 assists), ranking among the top scorers in conference. Lulu Murphy has anchored the defense in goal, compiling 44 saves and a .376 save percentage on the year.

As a team, the Golden Bears are averaging 11.6 goals per game while allowing 11.8.

Series History
Tuesday's meeting will be the 4^th all-time matchup between Syracuse and Cal. The Orange are 3-0 in the series, including a 18-6 road victory last season.

This will be just the second meeting between the two programs as ACC opponents and Cal's first trip to the JMA Wireless Dome since 2004.
