Guyette saved nine shots at a .529 clip against No. 2 Stanford, marking the second consecutive contest she has recorded a save percentage north of .500.
Â
Offensive Leaders
The Orange attack is led by Molly Guzik and Caroline Trinkaus, both having recorded seven points this season. Trinkaus has logged two goals in all three games to go with an assist while Guzik has five goals and two assists.
Â
Trinkaus led the Orange back against Stanford, scoring twice early in the fourth quarter to knot the game up. Guzik has scored two goals in back-to-back contests. Mackenzie Rich assisted on two goals against Stanford, a new career-high.
Â
The Back Line
Alongside Guyette, the Syracuse defense has held opponents to 10.0 goals per game this year. Izzy Lahah leads the defense with five cause turnovers this season while Mackenzie Salentre and Kaci Benoit are close behind with four apiece.
Â
