SYRACUSE, New York -- Syracuse closes out the regular season against defending national champion and No. 2 ranked Boston College on Thursday, April 17. Opening draw is set for 7 p.m. at Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, New York. Tickets and parking will be free of charge.

The Orange are honoring Team IMPACT at Thursday's game. Syracuse's Team IMPACT teammate, Maddy Hertweck, will take part in the coin toss prior to the game.

Syracuse enters Thursday's game with a 9-6 overall record and a 5-3 mark in ACC action. Emma Ward is on the brink of becoming Syracuse's all-time leader in assists. She enters Thursday's game with 164 career assists, which ties Katie Rowan for the top spot on the Orange's career leader list. Earlier this season, Ward became the seventh player in program history to reach 300 career points. She is one of only three players in program history to record more than 150 goals and 150 assists.

Coco Vandiver has caused 36 turnovers in 2025, which ranks second on Syracuse's single-season record list. She is second in caused turnovers per game in the ACC and 10th nationally (2.40).

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
No. 2 Boston College is coming off a 24-11 victory against Virginia, which improved the Eagles' record to 14-1 overall, 7-1 in ACC play.

Senior Rachel Clark leads the Eagles in points (89) and goals (71). Other key Boston College contributors this season are Emma LoPinto with 79 points (56g, 23a) and McKenna Davis with 72 points (17g, 55a). Davis dished out a career-high nine assists against the Cavaliers.

Goalkeeper Shea Dolce ranks second in the nation in save percentage (.536) and goals-against average (7.35). She was a second-team IWLCA All-America selection last season.

Thursday's game marks the 32nd all-time meeting between Syracuse and Boston College. The Orange have won 17 of the previous 31 contests between the squads.Â

The teams played three times last season – the regular-season finale, the ACC Tournament championship game and the national semifinals in Cary, North Carolina. Syracuse and Boston College faced off in the second national semifinal at last year's Championship Weekend.

The Eagles scored the final goal of the first quarter to start a 4-0 scoring run that gave Boston College a 6-2 lead. The Orange scored the final two goals of the first half to cut the deficit to 6-4 at halftime.
