NEW HAVEN, Connecticut --Â No. 6/6 Syracuse puts its four-game winning streak on the line when it takes on No. 12/13 Yale on Wednesday, April 2 in New Haven, Connecticut. The game marks the Orange's final non-conference contest of the regular season.

ORANGE UPDATE
The Orange won their second-straight one goal game last Saturday, defeating Virginia, 13-12, in the JMA Wireless Dome. The win improved Syracuse's record to 8-4 overall, 4-2 in ACC play, and extended the 'Cuse winning streak to a season-high four games.

Grad student Emma Ward became the seventh player in program history to record 300 career points in the win. She ranks seventh on Syracuse's points list and is third in career assists (153).

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Yale won its first seven games of the season but has lost four in a row.

Jenna Collignon is the Bulldogs' leading goal scorer with 36 to along with two assists for a team-best 38 points. Fallon Vaughn and Taylor Lane have both dished 12 assists.

Yale ranks third in the nation in scoring defense, allowing just 7.60 goals per game. Cami Donadio has started eight games in goal for the Bulldogs. She has an 8.42 goals-against average and a .380 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday's game marks the fifth overall meeting between Syracuse and Yale. The Bulldogs visited the JMA Wireless Dome last season for the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals.

Ward found the back of the net 1:02 into the game for the first of four-straight goals for Syracuse. After Yale scored its first goal at the 6:27 mark in the first quarter, four more 'Cuse goals extended the lead to 8-1.

Yale fought back and with the first goal of the fourth quarter, cut the Syracuse lead to 13-8. That was as close as they could get as the Orange scored the game's next six goals and posted a 19-9 victory, advancing to Championship Weekend. Emma Tyrrell led Syracuse with nine points on seven goals and two assists.
