SYRACUSE, New York --Â Syracuse looks to extend its winning streak when it welcomes Virginia to the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday, March 29. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m.

The Orange will celebrate Senior Day at Saturday's game and honor members of the graduating class in a pregame ceremony. Tickets are on sale at Cuse.com/tickets. The game will be broadcast on ACCNX and WJPZ 89.1FM in the Syracuse area. Fans can also get live updates on social media (@CuseWLax).

WARD NEARS MILESTONE
Graduate student Emma Ward continues her climb to 300 career points. With six points in the win against Notre Dame, the grad student increased her career point total to 297. Ward would become just the seventh player in program history to reach the milestone. She is just the third player in program history with more than 145 goals and 145 assists.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse has improved its record to 7-4 overall, 3-2 in the ACC after its third-straight win against Notre Dame on Saturday. The game was played in front of a crowd of 3,622. It marks the largest single-game crowd in program history. Joely Caramelli led the Orange in the draw circle with nine draw controls. Overall, Syracuse won 15-of-26 draws in the game.

Danny Guyette finished with 11 saves. She has now reached double figures in saves in two-straight games and seven this season. For the second consecutive game the Orange defense held their opponents' leading goal scorer below her season average. Notre Dame's Madison Rassas entered the game with a team-high 28 goals. She finished with one.

SCOUTING THE CAVALIERS
Virginia enters Saturday's game on a three-game winning streak after a 16-12 win against Pittsburgh. The Cavaliers are 7-3 overall, 3-2 in ACC play.

Madison Alaimo is Virginia's leader in points (45) and Jenna DiNardo leads the team in goals (28). Alaimo put up a career-high nine points (3g, 6a) against Pittsburgh. DiNardo also recorded her seventh hat trick of the season at Saturday's game.

Kate Galica finished the game with 11 draw controls, marking her fourth consecutive game with 11+ draw controls and her seventh game this season in double figures.

Syracuse and Virginia will meet for the 32nd time when they take the field on Saturday. The Orange lead the all-time series, 18-13.

The squads met twice last season. Syracuse defeated the Cavaliers, 15-14, in Charlottesville during the regular season. The second meeting took place in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament in Charlotte.

Syracuse took control of the game early. The Orange scored eight unanswered goals to start the game and led 13-1 at halftime. 'Cuse continued to extend its lead after intermission and recorded a 19-4 victory.
