ORANGE UPDATE
Sophomore Joely Caramelli scored a career-high three goals and recorded a personal-best 10 draw controls to lead the Orange to a 17-11 victory at Pittsburgh on Saturday. Syracuse enters Wednesday's game with a 5-4 overall record and a 2-2 mark in ACC play.

The Orange posted 12 caused turnovers against the Panthers, marking the fourth time this season that 'Cuse has posted 10+ caused turnovers in a game. Sophomore Alexa Vogelman and junior Superia Clark led the way with three apiece.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
Loyola is coming off a 16-6 victory against Army last Saturday. The win improved the Greyhounds' record to 5-4.

Chase Boyle, a finalist for the Tewaaraton Award last season, leads Loyola with 35 goals. Georgia Latch has dished out 30 assists and scored 20 goals for a team-best 50 points. Lauren Spence has started all nine games in goal for Loyola. She has a 10.86 goals-against average and a .454 save percentage.

The Greyhounds have one of the best draw units in the nation. Loyola ranks second nationally in draw control percentage (.661) and third in draw controls per game (18.0).

SERIES HISTORY
Syracuse and Loyola will meet for the 26th time when they take the field on Wednesday. The Orange lead the all-time series, 20-5.

Last year's meeting took place in the JMA Wireless Dome. A back-and-forth first half ended with Syracuse leading 8-7. After the Greyhounds scored the first goal after intermission to tie the game for the sixth time, the Orange scored six unanswered goals to take their largest lead of the game at 14-8. Emma Tyrrell had four goals during the scoring run.

Loyola fought back in the fourth quarter and cut the deficit to three with 1:48 remaining, but that was as close as it could get as Syracuse posted a 16-13 victory. Tyrrell led the Orange with six goals.
