PITTSBURGH -- No. 8/6 Syracuse women's lacrosse is on the road for its next two contests, including Saturday's game at Pittsburgh. The Orange and Panthers get things underway at Highmark Stadium at 11 a.m.

ORANGE UPDATE
The Orange have played overtime in each of its last two games. Syracuse defeated Stanford, 14-13 in double OT, before losing to Johns Hopkins, 14-13, this past Tuesday in one extra session. Syracuse enters Saturday's game with a 4-4 overall record and a 1-2 mark in ACC play.

The newcomers have been significant contributors for the Orange this season, none more than Caroline Trinkaus. She posted her third hat trick of the season against Johns Hopkins, giving her 13 goals this season. Trinkaus ranks second on the team in points (19) and assists (6) and is third in goals.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Pittsburgh defeated Liberty, 15-6, on Wednesday to extend its winning streak to three games. The Panthers are now 5-3 overall, including a 1-2 mark against ACC opponents.

Sydney Naylor is Pittsburgh's leader in points (27) and goals (22). Jenna Hendrickson has 18 goals and 24 points, while Avery Moon has dished out a team-high seven assists to go along with 15 goals for 22 points.

Molly Cain has played the majority of minutes in goal for the Panthers. She has a 10.17 goals-against average and a .447 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY
Saturday's game will be the fourth all-time meeting between Syracuse and Pittsburgh. The Orange have won the previous three meetings, including the only contest played in Pittsburgh.

Last year's game was played at CNS Stadium in Cicero. With the Orange leading 2-1, Payton Rowley scored her second goal of the day, sparking Syracuse on a 10-0 scoring run that gave 'Cuse control of the game.

Syracuse extended its lead to 15-2 at the end of the third quarter before the Panthers recorded five of the six goals in the fourth quarter for the 16-7 final. Emma Tyrrell led the Orange with six goals, while Rowley posted a career-high five points on three goals and two assists.
