Closing the Book, On to the Sequel
- The last of three-straight one-game weeks sends the Orange off to Kentucky for not only their final regular season game but also the ACC Tournament (Nov. 4-7).
- Saturday features a noon start at Trager Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky. Saturday's matchup is the last in ACC play and will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
- The Orange fresh off a 3-1 win against the Boston College Eagles. The Eagles beat the Cardinals just two days later on Sunday (Oct. 26).
- Syracuse is looking for its seventh win in a true road game during the 2025 campaign, improving from the 2024 season, which ended with a 6-3 road record.
- Syracuse will look to continue its three-game winning streak against the Cardinals, having not lost a game against the Cardinals since October 29, 2021.
- The Orange remain in the top 10 in the week's NFHCA Division I Coaches Poll, the eighth-straight week Syracuse has been inside the top 10, the most top-10 weeks since the 2016 season, when the team was ranked in the top 10 all 10 weeks.

With a Win Saturday Syracuse Would...
- Close out the 2025 regular season with a 12-4 record and end with a 7-1 record on the road, improving on the 2024 road record of 6-3.
- Be the fourth ACC win of the year for Syracuse, marking back-to-back seasons of a 4-4 ACC record.
- Be the 16th win for the Orange over the Cardinals since their first game in 1993.
-Head coach Lynn Farquhar would improve to 3-0 against Louisville in her career as a head coach.

Updating The NCAA CV
- With one game left on the schedule for the 2025 regular season, the Orange are just 60 minutes from the postseason.
- Syracuse will lock in its seed for the ACC Tournament with Saturday's result.
- Looking ahead to the NCAA Tournament, with the Selection Show slated for 10 p.m. on Sunday, November 9 on NCAA.com, Syracuse is in fine shape for the big dance.
- The Orange sit ninth in the NCAA Rankings Percentage Index (RPI) with an RPI value of 0.62375, with Yale in 10th place at 0.60562.
- Syracuse's nonconference RPI is eighth, bolstered by a clean 8-0 record in non-league games.
- The Orange are 1-2 against teams currently in the top five of the RPI.
- As a league the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) has the best RPI in Division I as the teams are a combined 92-47 on the year. The ACC schedules tough, and is not afraid to take the show on the road, as the league is ranked first in Opponent Success, Opponent Strength of Schedule, Road RPI and currently second behind the Ivy League in Road Success.
- Additionally, the ACC had the best record against nonconference opponents during the 2025 regular season, combining to go 60-15 outside the league. The Ivy League was second at 53-15.

- Several players are among the tops of Division I active players for career stats.
- Despite playing in just her second season at Syracuse, Bo van Kempen is currently fifth among active goal scorers with a 1.00 goals per game average.
- On the other end of the field, van Kempen has the 10th-most career defensive saves (7) among active Division I players.
- Pati Strunk is 14th among active players with 26 total career assists with Lana Hamilton close behind with 21, good for 24th among active players.
- In net with two seasons at Monmouth and this season with the Orange, Jessie Eiselin has the 15th best goals against average (1.58) among active players and the ninth-most wins (28) among current netminders.
