Field Hockey Facilities
 J.S. Coyne Field
Home to the field hockey Orange is J.S. Coyne Stadium, the largest outdoor sports facility on the Syracuse University campus. Coyne Stadium received a face-lift in 2016, highlighted by a world-class playing surface.
The 2015 NCAA Champions made a multitude of upgrades to J.S. Coyne Stadium prior to the 2016 season, first beginning with the turf. Installed by GreenFields, the new surface which is the same field that was installed at the 2014 Hockey World Cup in The Hague, Netherlands. It is a synthetic system developed in collaboration with the global textiles technology specialist TenCate and leading field hockey players that was ranked No. 1 by FIH during the selection process for the official World Cup turf.Â
"The bounce is very natural and it suits our game as a really fast turf," said head coach Ange Bradley prior to the 2016 season opener. "It was a lot of work on designs, but I liked the natural look of the dark and light greens, I thought The Hague did a fantastic job and it was a beautiful field, so what better than to bring it here. GreenFields did a great job. We're extremely happy and I want to thank (Vice President and Chief Facilities Officer) Pete Sala for all the work he has done along with (Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities and Event Operations) Morey Mossovitz to help this come together. It's a beautiful field to play on, I can't wait for our opener."
A fast surface, the pitch is designed with two different shades of green, with a lighter surface covering the field, and a dark shade of green surrounding the field to demarcate the out of bounds areas. The coloring is designed to provide high visibility both on the field and for spectators. The field has also been branded with a blue end zone with Orange spelled out opposite the scoreboard side of the field.
In addition to the surface itself, the stadium has been equipped with a new watering system, with water cannons that rise out of the field to provide optimum playing conditions for the Orange.

 JMA Wireless Dome
The nationally known JMA Dome sits on SU’s main campus. In addition to being the home of the Orange women’s basketball, football, men’s basketball, men’s lacrosse and women’s lacrosse teams, the Dome is used as an indoor practice facility by several other SU teams.
The arena constructed between April 1979 and September 1980 for $26.85 million, including $2.75 million naming gift from Carrier Corporation. The building seats 33,633 for basketball games and during the summer of 2003 got a face lift with the installation of two Daktronics LED video boards. In the summer of 2005, the Dome’s Astroturf, which had covered the floor for 25 years was replaced with a brand new FieldTurf Pro series brand artificial surface.

Weight Room
Syracuse’s 11,200 square-foot, state-of-the-art strength and conditioning facility is another sign of the athletics department’s commitment to first class facilities. This workout room, which opened in December, 2005, is complemented by a second weight room in the Lampe Athletics Complex.
Manley Field House Athletic Training Room
The Manley Field House Athletic Training Room, renovated in 2000, is the main athletic training room facility and is utilized by all sports except football and in-season men's and women's basketball. The training room is open from 7:00 a.m. until approximately 6:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday and as needed based on practice and game schedules on weekends, holidays, and vacation breaks.

John A. Lally Athletics ComplexÂ
Also home to the Orange is the John A. Lally Athletics Complex. The 9,500 seat arena and its adjoining wings serve as the headquarters for the SU Athletic Department. The complex houses athletic and administrative offices, as well as academic support offices, study facilities, locker rooms, the sports medicine complex and an extensively equipped weight room. During the summer of 1995 the Roy Simmons Coaches Wing was added onto the front of the building, while the former coaches’ office space was converted into an expansive student-athlete support services area (the Stevenson Educational Center), and offices for the Office of Athletic Compliance. This area also accommodates student-athletes’ needs for computer clusters and individual study rooms. During the indoor season, the Orange practice on the removable synthetic turf from Sportexe which was installed in Manley Field House in January of 2008. The turf consists of 16 individual pieces. Each piece, which comes in a roll, is 15 feet wide. When all 16 pieces are unfurled, the turf measures 70 yards in length, and, at its widest point, measures 60 yards or the width of a regular-size football field.Â
