Ashlyn O'Shea joined the Syracuse women's soccer staff as a volunteer assistant coach in the Spring of 2025.
In addition to working at a number of soccer camps in recent years, O'Shea was a staff member with Soccer For Success, a program that emphasized youth development.
She has earned United States Soccer Federation (USSF) licenses for 4v4, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11.
She earned a master's degree in sport coaching with an emphasis in sport psychology from the United States Sports Academy in 2024. O'Shea graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in psychology, with a minor in coaching, from Buffalo in 2023. She received Dean's List recognition in each semester she attended.
While a member of the Buffalo soccer program, she played as a defender and midfielder. O'Shea served for three seasons as the team's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative.
O'Shea played one season at Woodlands High School (Texas). She then was a captain and three-year starter with the Houston Dash Development Academy. O'Shea also competed for IMG Development Academy. O'Shea was a U.S. Soccer Training Center participant from 2014-to-2017.
Her father, Nick O'Shea, coached at Oakland from 1995-to-2014. Her mother, Leslie-ann Graham, competed with the Canadian National Team from 1993-to-1996.
