Chris Thomas ’22, M ‘23, a former men’s basketball graduate assistant and student head manager at Syracuse, was named producer/videographer at his alma mater in August 2024.

While earning his undergraduate degree at Syracuse, Thomas was a student manager with the men’s basketball program for three years. Thomas was a member of the Basketball Analytics Club from September 2018 to March 2022.Thomas was appointed to a graduate assistant post following his graduation and served two years. In that role, he assisted with analytical studies, film work, and the creation of opponent scouting reports. He also produced videos related to recruiting.
During the summer of 2021, Thomas as a business analytics intern for D.C. United. He also served as a statistician with the Syracuse Stallions of The Basketball League.
In addition to the tasks Thomas performed as a graduate assistant, his responsibilities at Syracuse will include overseeing all video operations for the men’s basketball program.
