NEW ORLEANS - Sophomore Hakim Warrick knocked a Michael Lee three-point attempt out of bounds with 1.5 seconds left on the clock to help Syracuse hold on to win its first NCAA Championship, 81-78, against Kansas at New Orleans' Superdome. Freshman Carmelo Anthony, who finished the game with 20 points and 10 rebounds, earned the Final Four Most Outstanding Player award.

More than 25,000 Attend Celebration

Celebrating in the Loud House

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - More than 25,000 fans packed the Carrier Dome to celebrate the Orangemen's national championship on Thursday, April 10. Fans were treated to highlights of SU's tournament run, the presentation of the NABC's crystal championship trophy and the raising of a 30-by-50 foot championship banner.
