Orange Check in at #12 in CRCA Preseason Poll

Syracuse Women's Rowing has checked in as the #12 team in the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Preseason Poll, the group announced Wednesday afternoon. This marks the fourth consecutive season the Orange are ranked inside the preseason top 12 and the eighth straight year under head coach Luke McGee that Syracuse has appeared in the preseason top 20.
Syracuse is one of six ACC crews in the poll, tied for the most of any conference in the nation. Joining the Orange are #1 Stanford, #8 Virginia, #10 California, #18 Duke and #21 Clemson. The Orange are coming off a season in which they placed 12th at the NCAA Championship and third at the ACC Championship.
The Orange get their spring racing season underway on March 28 when they travel to Cherry Hill, N.J., to compete in the Doc Hosea Invitational.
