Graham Hall joined the Syracuse University men's rowing coaching staff as an assistant coach in August 2025. Hall assists in general team operations including equipment and facilities management, as well as day-to-day coaching responsibilities. He also serves as head coach of the Syracuse Chargers Rowing Club's adult competitive program.
Hall comes to Syracuse after serving as an assistant coach with the University of Virginia men's team from March through July 2025, where he focused on preparing novice rowers for varsity competition and developing strong rowing fundamentals. He previously served as men's team manager at Virginia from January 2024 to March 2025.
During the summer of 2024, Hall served as club and race team assistant coach for the Greater Columbus Rowing Association in Columbus, Ohio, coaching athletes ranging from recent learn-to-row graduates to Division I IRA/NCAA rowers. His duties included daily practice operations, lineup selections, and training programming, as well as serving as point of contact for GCRA rowers and regatta officials at select summer races. Hall also worked as a private coach during the summers of 2023 and 2024, focusing on youth rowers interested in collegiate rowing and helping them navigate the recruiting and USRowing selection processes.
Hall graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in foreign affairs. He earned his high school diploma and International Baccalaureate Diploma from Upper Arlington High School in 2021. He also holds a US Rowing Level 1 Coaching Certification.
Hall is a native of Columbus, Ohio and currently resides in Syracuse.
