From the Start
- The final game of a five-game road swing is here as the Orange get set for a single-game week. Syracuse heads for Graham Field at Holmes Stadium along the thoroughfare of US Route 15.
- Syracuse makes its second trip to Lewisburg in the Lynn Farquhar Era (2023) and looking to improve on a 12-1-0 all-time record with the Bison.
- The Orange make the trip to Bucknell with a 3-1 overall record, splitting last weekend's results at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Syracuse knocked off Ohio State 3-2 on Friday before falling 2-1 in a shootout decision with No. 20 Rutgers, which hosted the weekend.
- Sunday's game brings a close to one of the longest road swings in program history to open a season. Excluding the unique 2020-21 season, the five games away from Coyne to open the season are the longest such streak since the 1993 team played five straight on the road to open that season. The 1993 orange went 2-3-0 in that span with wins over Louisville and Ohio State before dropping three to Penn State, Princeton, and Virginia in overtime
- It's been goals by committee in the early goings this year. Five different players have scored, including four with a pair of goals (Taylor Bigbie, Hattie Madden, Aubrey Turner, and Jovie Weaver). Weaver and Grace Anne McCooey each have a game-winning goal to their credit.
- Farquhar is in the early stages of her fourth season at the helm of the program, looking to add to her 40 wins in her time at Syracuse. The Orange reached the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals for a second time in those first three years last year, knocking out Liberty in strokes.

With a Win Sunday Syracuse Would...
- Would collect its fourth win in at least the first five games of a season for a fifth year in a row.
- Notch its 13th win all-time against Bucknell, improving to 6-1 in road games against the Bison.
- Win its 10th game in a row against Bucknell.
- Be the 41st win in Lynn Farquhar's head coaching career at Syracuse and her 147th overall win as a head coach, including 107 at Saint Joseph's.

Orange Own The Series
- Syracuse has controlled the all-time series with Bucknell, holding a 12-1-0 record in 13 meetings dating back to 1984.
- The Orange enter this game holding a nine game win streak in the series.
- The most recent matchup came on Oct. 24, 2024 when Syracuse picked up a 7-2 win at Bucknell.
- The Orange has scored at least three goals in the last seven matchups with Bison and have outscored Bucknell 29-7 during that time.
- Syracuse is undefeated at home, going 7-0 against Bucknell in games played in Syracuse. The Orange have recorded five home shoutouts in the series.

We're Coming Home (Sort Of)
- Sunday's game is a chance for five Syracuse standouts to play nearly on home turf as Jovie Weaver, Grace O'Connor, Ava Jones, Aubrey Turner, and Tane King all hail from the Keystone State.
- O'Connor, Turner, and King are from the Greater Philadelphia region, while Jones matriculated from Harleysville, situated between Allentown and Philadelphia.
- Sunday on the Susquehanna is about as close as it will get this season for the Pennsylvanians as Weaver resides in Palmyra, a suburb of Hershey and the state capital of Harrisburg.
- Weaver's hometown is roughly 90 minutes from Lewisburg.
- Several Orange have had success this year playing in their home states. Grace Anne McCooey, Catalina Pravda, and Kaitlyn Harding are all from New Jersey where Syracuse went 1-1 this year. McCooey scored the game-winner against Ohio State with Pravda on the assist in Piscataway.
