#9 Orange Set for Cayuga Cup
4/3/2026 11:17:00 AM | Women's Rowing
The No. 9 Syracuse women's rowing team continues its spring campaign on Saturday, April 4, at the Cayuga Cup in Saratoga Springs, New York. The Orange will face No. 3 Yale and Cornell in the competition.
Â
The Cayuga Cup was held annually from 2003-2011 before going dormant for over a decade. The three programs brought the tradition back in 2023 and have raced each year since then. Yale has won the last three instances, with Syracuse finishing second in each race since 2023.
Â
Syracuse enters the weekend following a strong showing at the Doc Hosea Invitational, where the Orange earned multiple victories, including wins in the Varsity Eight (V8), Second Varsity Eight (2V8) and Second Varsity Four (2V4).
Â
Saturday's racing will feature the V8, 2V8, 3V8 along with the V4, 2V4 and 3V4.
Â
For results from Saturday's races, check back to Cuse.com following the end of the regatta.
