Brown Qualifies for NCAA Championship

Jamir Brown will compete in next week's NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, qualifying in the 60-meter hurdles.
Brown becomes the latest 'Cuse hurdler to advance to the national indoor meet, marking three of the four seasons the Orange have qualified a hurdler.
Brown, the ACC runner-up, is tied for the 14th-best time nationally in the event. The sophomore is in his first season at Syracuse after transferring from Rowan this summer. Brown is one-of-three underclassmen to qualify for the national meet, as 13 of the 16 competitors in the field are either juniors or seniors.
The NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships will take place in Fayetteville, Arkansas on March 13-14.
