Four former members of the Syracuse women's lacrosse program were selected in the 2026 WLL Supplemental Draft. Three former Orange standouts, Savannah Sweitzer, Meaghan Tyrrell, and Natalie Smith were selected by the New York Charging while goalkeeper Delaney Sweitzer was selected by the Boston Guard.
Tyrrell left Syracuse as one of the most accomplished players in program history, leaving as the program's all-time leader in points with 415. She posted over 100 points in each of her final three seasons, including scoring 78 goals in the 2022 season, just one off the program record for most in a season.
Savannah Sweitzer was a key contributor for the Orange, having racked up 46 goals and 17 assists in three years with Syracuse. She was particularly strong her senior year, tallying 24 goals and nine assists.
Smith also played a key role for the Orange offense, including being named Second Team All-ACC in 2024 after scoring 44 goals and logging 10 assists.

Delaney Sweitzer was selected by the Boston Guard following a collegiate career in which she earned 2023 IWLCA and ACC Goalkeeper of the Year honors and followed with All-ACC Second Team honors in 2024. She compiled 343 saves in her three-year tenure at Syracuse and allowed fewer than 10 goals per game in each of her final two seasons with the Orange.
The WLL will hold its 2026 College Draft on Wednesday, April 15th to round out each team's roster.
