
Guyette Tabbed as ACC Defensive Player of the Week

Goalkeeper Daniella Guyette earned ACC Defensive Player of the Week honors Tuesday, after leading Syracuse to a couple of tighlty contested wins with 15 saves and a .600 save percentage against a pair of ranked opponents.
Guyette was at her best in a victory over then-No. 7 Yale, turning aside 10 of 15 shots for a .667 save percentage. She followed with five saves on 10 shots in a win over then-No. 19 Virginia.
The junior ranks first in the ACC and third nationally in goals against average this season, allowing just 7.0 per game. Her 67 saves on the year are tied for ninth in the nation and second in the conference, accompanied by a .500 save percentage.
