Umari Hatcher has been added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List after his strong start to the 2026 season, the Biletnikoff Award announced on Wednesday.
Hatcher, the current ACC Receiver of the Week, has 29 catches for 434 yards and five touchdowns this season. He also has two carries for 39 yards. In his most recent outing vs. UConn, he caught 12 passes for 152 yards and three touchdowns.
The Biletnikoff Award, presented by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, honors the nation's top pass catcher annually and has been presented since 1994.
Hatcher appeared in just one game in 2025 after suffering in injury at the conclusion of the 2024 season. Since recovering, he has emerged as Syracuse's top target this season. In his Orange career, he has 81 catches for 1,231 yards and 12 scores.
Hatcher's 7.25 catches per game and five touchdowns both rank 11th in the FBS this season.
The Biletnikoff Award's semifinalists, three finalists, and award recipient are selected by the highly distinguished Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of 625 prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers.
Hatcher and the Orange face Virginia on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., before returning home on Oct. 17 to face Louisville. Tickets are available at Cuse.com/FootballTickets.Â
