PUCK DROP
- Syracuse hosts Lindenwood for the final home weekend series of the 2025-2026 season this weekend of January 23 and January 24.
-The Orange split a series earlier this season in November with the Lions when they traveled to St. Charles, Missouri, where they won the first match 2-1 and lost the second 4-1.
- This is an important matchup for the 'Cuse as they look ahead to playoffs for home ice advantage in the AHA postseason. Syracuse currently sits in fourth place in the AHA standings, trailing RIT by four points. Lindenwood sits in fifth tied with Robert Morris, four points behind the Orange. The No. 3 seed and No. 4 seed will have home ice advantage for the first round of playoffs, while the one and two seed will have the advantage for the semifinals.
- Both games will be streamed on FloHockey as puck drop is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday.
CELEBRATING OUR SENIORS
- This weekend at Tennity Ice Pavilion will celebrate its six graduating seniors Maya D'Arcy, Mik Todd, Sami Gendron, Charlotte Hallett, Heidi Knoll, and Maïka Paquin.
- D'Arcy, Todd, Hallett, and Knoll have been with the team since their freshman year of the 2022-23 season. Gendron and Paquin transfered to 'Cuse their junior years (2024-25).
- Between the six players, they have recorded 616 games and 108 points over their collegiate careers. - These seniors have been leaders on the ice as Gendron has served as a team captain this season as well as D'Arcy and Knoll as alternates.
- The official ceremony will take place following the conclusion of Saturday's game against Lindenwood where families will join their athletes on the ice to celebrate their accomplishment and hockey careers.
DRABYK NAMED TO WOMEN'S NATIONAL GOALIE OF THE YEAR WATCH LIST
