16 Rowers Named to the ACC All-Academic Team

Syracuse University had 16 women's rowers named to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) All-Academic Team, announced Friday afternoon. Seniors Aphrodite Gioulekas and Caileigh Grimes highlighted the list of Orange as four-time honorees. A total of 379 student-athletes were recognized across the ACC women's rowing programs.
Fellow seniors Zoe Acosta and Charlotte Ebel earned All-ACC Academic Team honors for the third time in their careers while Kelsey Boswell, Georgia Kaufman Annabelle McCulloch, Alice McNiell and Dana Shearer earned the honors for the second time.
First time All-ACC Academic Team members for the Orange were Katie Breeze, Acorn Cassidy, Issy Kelland, Clotilde Marcelot, Devin Morrison, Antonia Pichott, and Rachel Weber.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have participated in either the ACC Championship and/or the NCAA Championship.
