Seeding, Lane Assignments Set For 2025 ACC Rowing Championship

The seeds and lane assignments for the 2025 ACC Women's Rowing Championship were released by the conference Friday. The event will be held on May 16-17 on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.
Syracuse is the No. 3 seed in all five races. Stanford is the top seed in every event with California as the No. 2 seed across all races. The seeds were determined by a vote of the conference's head coaches.
The 2025 ACC Championship begins Friday, May 16 with prelims at 8:05 a.m. The third varsity eight will kick off the day followed by the varsity eight, second varsity eight, varsity four and second varsity four. Each event will have two Friday heats.
Saturday will feature finals for each event, with a petite final and grand final in each category beginning at 8:05 a.m. The two-day event will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.
The No. 12 ranked Orange will look to defend the ACC title after winning their first last season at Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, N.C. The Orange scored 90 points to tie with Virginia and won the title by virtue of their victory in the first varsity eight grand final. The Orange snapped Virginia's streak of 13 consecutive ACC titles. Syracuse's second varsity eight also won gold as the Orange varsity and second varsity eights have each won the last two ACC grand finals.
