Syracuse Ranked #11 Entering ACC Championship

The Syracuse University women's rowing team returned to No. 11 in this week's CRCA Coaches Poll, which was released on May 13.
The Orange went up one spot in this week's poll and will enter this weekend's ACC Championship as the third highest ranked team in the conference. Stanford is the top team in the poll with 2,993 points with California at No. 9. Also ranked from the ACC is Virginia at No. 13, Duke at No. 18, Clemson at No. 22 and North Carolina at No. 24.
Syracuse has raced against six teams currently ranked in the top 10 – No. 1 Stanford, No. 4 Tennessee, No. 5 Yale, No. 6 Princeton, No. 9 California and No. 10 Michigan.
The Orange will look to defend its conference title at the ACC Championship on May 16-17 at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. Racing will begin on Friday with heats with finals scheduled to be raced Saturday.
