THE GAME
- Back to ACC play for the Orange as No. 9/7 Syracuse heads for Chapel Hill on Saturday for its third league game of the season. Syracuse looks to rebound from back-to-back setbacks against two top 15 teams.
- Game time is set for 2 p.m. at Dorrance Field with ACC Network Extra on the broadcast. Nick Klos will have the call for ACC Network Extra on Saturday as Syracuse and North Carolina meet for the 32nd time.

THE NORTH CAROLINA SERIES
- Syracuse and North Carolina meet for the 32nd time on Saturday, with the road side holding a 19-12 all-time series lead.
- The Orange and Tar Heels first met back in 1981, a 13-6 win for North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
- Thanks to Michael Leo's last-second heroics last year in Olney, Maryland, Syracuse snapped a four-game slide in the series against UNC. Leo potted the game-winning goal on a wing dodge with only a dozen seconds left on the clock to break a 14-14 stalemate.
- The Orange are 6-4 against UNC across ACC play, dating back to 2014. Syracuse is 4-5 in the last 10 meetings.
- Syracuse is seeking its first win in Chapel Hill since a 12-9 victory on April 13, 2019 during the regular season.
- Orange head coach Gary Gait is 1-2 at the helm against the Tar Heels, while going 4-1 against North Carolina during his playing days, including a 21-10 NCAA Division I Semifinal win in 1990.

- Be Syracuse's 20th win all-time against North Carolina in a series dating back to 1981.
- See Syracuse win its first game at North Carolina since a 12-9 regular season victory during the 2019 campaign, a slide of just two games in that stretch.

- Mark the second-straight win for the Orange over North Carolina, the first time winning back-to-back tilts since the 2018 and 2019 regular seasons.
