
Nixon Commits To Syracuse Soccer

Jasmine Nixon (Indian Land H.S./Fort Mill, S.C.) has signed to enroll and play soccer at Syracuse, according to Coach Nicky Thrasher Adams.

Nixon is transferring to Syracuse from Kentucky. She saw field time in seven games and logged 121 minutes with the Wildcats this fall. Kentucky was 6-1 in the matches Nixon competed in.

She was a scholastic standout at Indian Land High School. She was a three-time South Carolina High School League (SCHSL) 4A All-State selection and was the SCHSL 4A Region Player of the Year. Nixon was named the 2023-24 Indian Land High School Female Athlete of the Year.

Nixon also competed for Charlotte Soccer Academy. She was a team captain and earned 2023 U18/19 Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) All-America recognition. Nixon was also the 2023 U18/19 ECNL Mid-Atlantic Player of the Year and a three-time, first-team all-conference pick. Charlotte Soccer Academy won the ECNL Mid-Atlantic Conference Championship.

She is the daughter of Jeff and Laura Nixon. Her father is the offensive coordinator with the Syracuse football team. Jasmine also has sisters Faith and Hope and a brother, William who plays football at Syracuse.

Nixon joins four other Syracuse commits: Julia Arbelaez (Somers/Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), Olivia Bozzo (Smithtown East/St. James, N.Y.), Bree Bridges (Colgan/Manassas, Va.) and Abby Incorvaia (Waldwick/Ridgewood, N.J.).
