SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 10 Syracuse begins a four-match homestand, beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 10 against Temple. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. (ACC Network Extra).
The Orange are unbeaten at home in their last 15 matches dating back to last season, posting a 12-0-3 record.

'Cuse Update
Syracuse beat No. 13 North Carolina, 1-0, Friday night in Chapel Hill to improve to 2-1-2 in Atlantic Coast Conference play.

Graduate student Buster Sjoberg scored the game's lone goal at 22:42 off a corner kick from senior Jeorgio Kocevski.

'Cuse held the Tar Heels shotless in the first half and held the advantage in corners throughout the match, 8-5.

Sophomore goalkeeper Jahiem Wickham turned aside a season-best four shots en route to his second straight clean sheet.

Syracuse is ranked ninth in the NCAA men's soccer RPI (games through Oct. 8).

Scouting the Owls
Bryan Green is in his first year at the helm of the Temple men's soccer program. Green spent the previous four seasons at ACC foe Louisville as the team's associate head coach. The Owls are 1-5-3 this year and have a 1-2-1 record in the AAC. Temple is coming off its first victory of the campaign, a 3-0 win over FAU last Wednesday.

Felix Ewald paces the Owls with three goals and seven points on the season, scoring a pair of goals against FAU. Andrew Kempe and Flannan Riley have split the goalkeeping duties, with both playing over 400 minutes.
