NEWTON, MASS. – No. 19 Syracuse travels to Massachusetts to play Boston College in the regular season finale on Friday, Oct. 27. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. (ACC Network Extra).

For the second straight game, a current member of the Orange will face his former team. Senior Michael Suski played for the Eagles from 2019-21, appearing in 39 matches and starting in 28 of those. Suski scored 13 goals and registered 35 points during his time with Boston College.

'Cuse Update
Syracuse played to a 1-1 draw with NC State on Sunday, Oct. 15 in the regular season home finale. This was the second straight season the Orange and Wolfpack tied, 1-1. Syracuse's goal both years came via an NC State own goal.

In 2023's match, 'Cuse outshot the Wolfpack, 18-2, and had more corners, 11-2.

In the 10 regular season home contests, Syracuse outshot its opponents, 145-48, including 78-15 in the first half. The Orange also held the advantage in corners, 86-28, at the SU Soccer Stadium.

Scouting the Eagles
Bob Thompson is in his fourth season at the helm of the Boston College men's soccer program and holds a 15-25-12 career record. This season, the Eagles are 3-8-4 and 0-5-2 in conference play. In the team's last outing on Friday, Oct. 20, Boston College lost 6-0 to Clemson.

Augustine Boadi and Jonathan Murphy both pace the team with three goals each. Xavier O'Neil has a team-best 27 shot attempts. Brennan Klein has started 13 of the 15 matches in net, posting a 1.16 goals-against average and .717 save percentage in 1,160:43 minutes of action.

Series History
Friday's contest will be the 35th meeting all-time between Syracuse and Boston College, dating back to time in the BIG EAST. The Eagles hold a 19-12-3 edge in the series. This will be the second straight season the Orange and Eagles have concluded the regular season against one another. In their last match together, the teams played to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 28, 2022, at the SU Soccer Stadium. Jeorgio Kocevski scored Syracuse's goal at 64:32 on a penalty kick.
