TODAY'S GAME
- Syracuse will look to improve to 2-0 in a rematch of last season's NCAA Tournament First Round matchup.

- Syracuse enters the contest coming off a dominant 19-6 win over Siena in the season opener.
THE ALBANY SERIESÂ
- The Orange and the Great Danes are set to meet for the 16th time in a series dating back to April 24, 2004. The Orange won the series's first matchup, 18-8.
- Syracuse has won 14 of 15 games all-time against Albany, including the series's last four matchups.
- Last year, Syracuse took down Albany twice, once in the regular season and once in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. In the regular season matchup, a 16-7 victory, Nick Mariano (3 g, 1 a) and Matt LaneÂ
(2 g, 2 a) each contributed four points. In the postseason matchup, an 11-9 win, Sergio Salcido led the way with four points on two goals and two assists.
VERSUS THE AMERICAN EAST
- Syracuse is 21-6 all-time against the seven current members of the American East Conference.Â

PUTTING FIVE ON IT
- Five different players contributed hat tricks in the Orange's season-opening, 19-6 win over Siena, it was the first time since 1990 that five or more players scored three goals in a single game.
- Nate Solomon and Brendan Bomberry netted four goals apiece while Jordan Evans, Nick Mariano, and Stephen Rehfuss each added three.
- It was the first time Syracuse accomplished the feat since April 18, 1990, a 22-10 victory over Cornell. Gary and Paul Gait, Tom Marechek, Jim Egan and Greg Burns were the three to do so.
RECORD WATCH
- Ben Williams is nine ground balls from tying the Syracuse career record and 10 from passing Joel White to own the record by himself.
- Williams tied Casey Powell (274) for third on the all-time list during Saturday's win over Albany. He now sits four behind Jarett Park (278) for second on the list.
