Bradley Sammut was named assistant athletic trainer on July 3, 2017. He came to Syracuse after serving as an athletic training intern for a year at the United States Naval Academy. Sammut’s primary responsibility is working with the Men's Soccer program.
Sammut’s role is to provide injury evaluation, rehabilitation and prevention for student-athletes, as well as providing daily reports to coaches and covering practices and games.
At Navy, Sammut provided primary coverage for the men’s and women’s rugby teams, women’s tennis and men’s and women’s golf.
Prior to his time in Annapolis, Sammut was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Penn State from August 2014 to May 2016 working primarily with the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
As an undergraduate at Michigan State, Sammut was a student athletic trainer for the softball, men’s soccer, football and wrestling programs.
Sammut is a 2014 graduate of Michigan State with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training and earned a Master of Education in educational leadership from Penn State in 2016.
