2005: Team captain… STX/USILA Honorable Mention All-America…played for the North in the North/South Collegiate All-Star game…started in 11 of 12 games played…scored one goal…had one assist and two points…recovered 30 groundballs.
2004: Starter on defense, playing both close and long-stick during the course of the season … fifth on the team in groundballs (43) … scored a goal in the regular-season match with Albany...played in every NCAA tournament game...charged with covering Ian Dingman in the national championship game against Navy.
At Herkimer: Played close defense and some long-stick midfield...team posted an 18-0 record in 2003 and won the NJCAA championship...was named the NJCAA Defenseman of the Year...2003 NJCAA Academic All-American...team captain...served on the Faculty Student Association.
At Hobart: Started in every game for the Statesman football team...recruited by former Hobart head coach and former SU volunteer assistant coach B.J. O'Hara.
High School: A three-sport athlete at Geneva High School...played football, basketball and lacrosse...team captain in lacrosse his junior and senior years...member of the 2000 Empire State Games Western Team that won gold...all-section as a junior and senior...class vice president.
Personal: Son of Debby and Gary Ditzell...has two sisters…born March 27, 1983 in Geneva…majoring in health and exercise science.
