High School: Played lacrosse (defense) for Forsyth Country Day under coaches Ben Heinsohn and Mark Hoey … Served as captain his junior and senior seasons … Named to the all-state team from 2001-2003 … Selected to the all-conference team in 2002 and 2003 … Named conference player of the year his senior year when he tallied 22 goals, seven assists and 168 ground balls … Named team MVP in 2001 and 2003 … Recorded 55 career points … Played for the Triad All-Stars in 2000 and 2003 … Invited to the Under-19 Team USA tryouts as a sophomore … One of two sophomores in the country to be invited to try out.
