Transferred to Syracuse from the University of Virginia where he helped the Cavaliers win the 2003 NCAA Championship and the 2003 ACC Championship.
at Virginia (2004): A stalwart defensive midfielder for the Cavs...played on the second and third midfield units throughout the 2004 season...scored four times, tied for fourth among UVA midfielders...his 20 groundballs were third among the team's midfielders...scored twice against Drexel in the 2004 season opener...had a career-high five groundballs against Air Force...scored in the game against Syracuse and added three groundballs...recorded an assist in win against North Carolina in the 2004 ACC Tournament semifinals...scored in the ACC Championship game against Maryland.
