At SU: One letter … Made the team as a walk-on prior to 2006 Spring practice … Member of the 2006 Spring, 2006 Fall, 2007 Fall and 2008 Spring Athletic Director’s Honor Roll … 2008 BIG EAST All-Academic Team selection.
Senior Year (2008): Played in all 12 games as the kickoff specialist … Averaged 65.1 yards per kick … At Northwestern, played in his first collegiate football game and had three kicks for 209 yards (69.7 yards per kick) … Against Akron, averaged 63.4 yards per kickoff on five kickoffs … Against Penn State, averaged 67.0 yards per kickoff on four kicks … Against Northeastern, netted a season-high 478 yards on seven kickoffs (68.3 yards per kick) … Against Pittsburgh, had four kickoffs for 245 yards (61.2 yards per kick) … At West Virginia, averaged 65.0 yards per kickoff (3 for 195 yards) … At South Florida, had four kickoffs for 247 (61.8 yards per kickoff) and one touchback … Recorded his first career tackle against the Bulls … Against Louisville, he had five kickoffs for 320 yards (64 yards per kickoff) … At Rutgers, had four kickoffs for 273 yards (68.2 yards per kickoff) … Against Connecticut, recorded four kickoffs for 271 yards (67.8 yards per kickoff) and posted a career-high with two solo tackles … At Notre Dame, averaged 59.6 yards per kickoff (five for 298) … At Cincinnati, had three kickoffs for 174 yards.
