At SU: Two letters ... Made the team as a walk-on during 2002 Spring practice ... Earned a scholarship for the 2003 season ... 2002 and 2003 BIG EAST All-Academic Team selection.
Senior Year (2003): Played in all 12 games as Syracuse’s long snapper on the punt protection and PAT/FG special teams units ... One of 39 players to participate in every game of the season ... Finished the season with three tackles on special teams ... Recorded one assisted tackle and forced a fumble on SU’s first punt of the game to set up Syracuse’s first touchdown against Central Florida ... Forced Tavaris Capers to fumble the ball, which was recovered by Darryl Kennedy ... At Virginia Tech, recorded one solo tackle ...
